Tia Loubser

Tia Loubser

Operations Manager

Tia has been a dedicated member of the Edufundi team since 2001. Starting as a personal assistant, she has grown alongside the organisation, playing a key role in the development and expansion of Edufundi’s projects. With over two decades of experience in administration, design, finance, and advanced computer systems, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. Her background also includes public relations, graphic design, and marketing, making her a dynamic force within the non-profit sector.

Beyond Edufundi, Tia is passionate about health and fitness. She discovered her love for exercise in 2015 and has since turned it into a thriving part of her life. As the Regional Manager for Metafit South Africa, she leads the way in high-intensity interval training (HIIT), supporting fitness professionals across the country. She also holds diplomas in Group Personal Training (NQF4) and Personal Training (NQF5).

When she’s not working or coaching, Tia enjoys spending time with her family, running, and unwinding in the kitchen with some baking.

Head of Programmes

Vuyo holds a Primary Teachers Diploma, Higher Diploma in Education, Bachelors of Education, an Advanced Certificate in Education, Post Graduate Diploma in HIV/AIDS Management and has 24 years teaching experience including being Deputy Principal and Principal. She also completed a challenging Instructional Leadership course in 2017, which helped her to gain a deeper understanding of the structure and content used by Edufundi for Teach Like A Champion presentations. Her voice of leadership and diplomacy as a principal has gained her much respect and a strong presence in the community of Gugulethu and the Western Cape. She is a strong motivator with a positive attitude who strives for perfection in her work. Vuyo is actively involved in her church as President of the Women’s Ministry Cape Region, as well as being a motivational speaker for women and youth programmes and a member of the Education Committee.

Office Administrator

Dorinda has been with Edufundi since 2010 and plays a key role in mentor coordination and administration, as well as event planning. She supports two provincial teams and works closely with the mentor support team to ensure mentors are fully equipped to carry out their daily work. In addition, she oversees travel logistics for the organisation.

Dorinda is highly efficient in getting tasks done and consistently demonstrates a willingness to engage in new learning. A self-starter by nature, she thrives on structure and routine, approaching tasks with energy and commitment to keeping things moving.

She has completed courses in Advanced MS Office, Introduction to Personal Computers, Business Administration and Secretarial, and Play-Based Learning (Birth to Grade 3). A dedicated mother of three, she is also a talented netball player and deeply committed to the well-being of her community.

Nwabisa Mange

Nwabisa joined Edufundi as an intern in 2016 and has since grown into a valued team member in a permanent role. She plays an integral part in mentor coordination, administration, event planning, and managing SACE accreditation processes. Working closely with the mentor support team and two provincial teams, she ensures smooth day-to-day operations and also supports Dorinda with travel logistics.

Her journey with Edufundi began in 2015 as a volunteer on the LiteraSEA Project, where she supported literacy development for Grade 2 learners at Intshinga Primary. This experience deepened her connection to the community and ignited a lasting commitment to education.

Nwabisa is known for her strong work ethic, excellent memory, and ability to work independently. She thrives in structured environments where she can apply her attention to detail and reliability to support the team effectively.

She studied Business Administration and previously interned at Fezeka Municipality. Outside of work, she is a proud mother of one and enjoys staying active at the gym.

Monitoring and Evaluation consultant

Robin joined Edufundi in 2018 as a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) consultant and has since become an invaluable asset to the team. With a Master’s Degree in M&E from the University of Cape Town and a decade of experience in the field, she brings a wealth of expertise to the organisation.

Specialising in G-Suite data management systems for NPOs, Robin has revolutionised the way Edufundi tracks and analyses data. Her work in live dashboard reporting has provided real-time insights that drive informed decision-making and programme effectiveness. Her dedication and meticulous approach ensure that Edufundi’s impact is not only measured but also maximised.

Robin’s work is further strengthened by the support of her brother, Chris, who plays a key role in refining and maintaining data systems. Together, they form a powerhouse team, ensuring that Edufundi’s M&E processes remain robust, efficient, and forward-thinking.
