Blending international pedagogic methodologies with local educational expertise, the Edufundi Support Programme is fully accredited with the South African Council for Educators (SACE). The programme provides mentorship in two spheres: leadership support and teacher support.

Our SACE accredited programme addresses the need for sustainable, quality, time-intensive support for teachers and principals in South African schools. Our leadership support enables school management teams to develop a culture of learning in their school and improve academic learner outcomes. Our teacher support provides in-classroom, one-on-one intensive teacher mentorship by local education experts.

Teach Like a Champion (TLAC)
Teach Like a Champion (TLAC)** is a practical one-year training course for educators. With a focus on classroom practice, its purpose is to equip teachers to cover the curriculum in a way that leads to meaningful learning for every learner in every lesson.
Lead Like a Champion (LLAC)
The Edufundi Lead Like A Champion programme supports and develops strong, effective and functional SMTs who lead their schools to support teaching for learning and it is SACE accredited.
Mentor Like a Champion (MLAC)
Mentor Like a Champion is a training and professional development programme for the Edufundi mentors.

Feedback and guidance: The key to progress

A pivotal aspect of the Support Programme involves lesson observations and feedback sessions immediately following each lesson. Initially, it can be somewhat intimidating for teachers to have someone in their classroom, observing them. However, after the initial few lessons, teachers quickly realize that these observations are meant to provide support rather than judgment.
